Here's a taste of Don Ross on his own... The story is that Don Ross was Andy McKee's mentor. They met at a fingerpicking contest that was taking place in Canada. Andy McKee was competing and Don Ross was a judge. They have been working together ever since.

Been a long time since I last updated this section. However, things have been happening that are now ready to
be revealed.
The band's first live performance is going to take place this Sunday at 10pm @ "Baraki tou Vasili". We have been
rehearsing an interesting program that we wish to unveil to friends and family. Please come to support us...!
These are some cajons I made recently. You can find out more about cajons here . The cajon is an amazing musical instrument so versitile and practical that you will surely enjoy. If you wish one made for yourself, all you need to do is send me an e-mail and we can discuss about your preferences in sound and design. All attributes can vary according to your needs.
The specific piece is made out of stained plywood and an oak veneered plywood playing surface. It is equipped with a tuning mechanism accessible from the bottom side. I can provide you with an allen key. The design is a custom made pyrography. The whole of the instrument has been varnished the old way using natural shellac.
The one above is the custom design whereas the one below is the standard face. Again, if you want one ... don't hasitate to get in touch !!!

I was recently honoured by my friend Yiannis Stathopoulos when he invited me to contribute
in the recording of one of his songs. I recorded flute and slide guitar. Yiannis is very talented and I am sure
he is going to do very well in the near future. His lyrics are very inspired and the music has a penetrating feel to it.
I am going to ask him whether he would be willing to let me upload his demo.
